Need

Improves the response time if pathogens are detected in the target area, due to modern methods of acquisition, processing and transmission of data and information

Use

The project has been implemented in partnership with Romanian and Bulgarian border authorities to monitor and simulate possible epidemiologic hazards effects and spread if a known contagious disease passes the borders from one country to the other.

Benefits

Identify health hazards and the needs of the affected population in order to plan interventions, and to protect and prevent an uncontrolled evolution of the infectious diseases.
